HMRC are aware of some temporary issues with license data flows between CDS and the Department of Business and Trade electronic licensing system (SPIRE/LITE).
These issues occur when a CDS exports declaration contains errors which impact the license. As a result, the declaration cannot progress to a cleared status.
HMRC has published guidance to assist declarants to overcome this temporary issue. The workaround involves refraining from using specific document status codes within the declaration, and what to do if this has already occurred. The full guidance can be found here.
