HMRC has issued an update to advise that on Saturday 26 September, CDS Release 5.3.0 will be delivered. The full update is below:
"CDS Release 5.3.0 will be delivered on the 26th September 2026. The attached guidance details changes that may affect how you need to complete CDS declarations.
These changes will only apply from the 26th September onwards, and so any declarations pre-lodged before this date may need to be amended after the
release has been deployed, to avoid rejections when the goods arrive."
