CDS: System Restored

Please be advised that HMRC have issued a further update to today's issues with CDS: 

 

"We apologise for the technical issues customers were experiencing with the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) today.

These issues have been resolved and the system is now fully operational. Declarations submitted during the outage are clearing in priority order, there is no need to contact HMRC.

Contingency plans for CDS will remain in place until at least 9pm when we will review.

Where goods were moved away from the frontier under customs control, declarations should now be made and arrived in CDS.

We apologise for any inconvenience and will continue to work closely with customers to ensure minimal disruption."
