Come and enjoy a night of boxing at one of the East Of England's premier charity boxing events.
The Rotary Club of Felixstowe is once again busy organising what is now our 10th Annual Charity Boxing Evening at the Brackenbury Sports Centre on Friday the 16th May 2025.
Last year's event raised a nett income of just short of £29k of which 50% was donated to St. Elizabeth’s Hospice, an independent charity, which improves life for people in East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney areas living with a progressive or life limiting illness. Established in 1989, the hospice has built a reputation for delivering high-level care to patients and the community it serves. Through medicine and therapy, they ease pain; give life purpose and make life liveable. Last year they supported over 4000 patients and their families.
Although we have had a very good take up to date, we still have a few tables, including one Ringside, available to corporate entities who enjoy a good night out with staff and customers. The evenings entertainment includes up to twelve exciting Challenge Matches and Prestige Local Bouts, a Cash Bar, Raffle, Prediction (Win big by guessing the winning corner of 6 chosen Bouts), Charity Auction and a 3 Course Dinner.
This annual event has to date raised over £150,000 and by joining us at the Brackenbury Sports Centre this May, your support will enable the Club to extend our donations not only to this year’s main beneficiary, the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity, but also to a range of other charitable initiatives in support of our local community.
The cost of a Ringside Table for 10 is £1350.00, a Premium Table is £1000.00 and a Standard Table £850.00. Standard Tables can be made available to share between companies, the cost of individual tickets being £85.00 each.
